Contact MP racing. I know they machine R and shee heads to acept o-rings. I don't know about a thumper though.

you will probally have a hard time time doing it since car and r-shee motors are water cooled and do not run as hot. the gaskets are rubber on dirtbikes, quads, not metal

a 2-stroke o-ring head uses round o-rings. a 400ex would have to have specialy formed o-rings

I can see what you mean, even the R o-ring set-up takes like 7 o-rings(I think).

BTW is that sig directed at me??

I though only 2 o-rings were used on a R head?

Maybe I read wrong. I thought it said that it used 7 o-rings, less then most other kits. Thats for them to machine it for o-rings, not cool head. ?????? Must have read wrong I will look it up?????? I had to email them cause it don't say it anywhere, may be I am trippin or somethin. I don't know now.
