Are they any good? I noticed they are noticeably cheaper than Elka. Im looking for a decent set of shocks for my 250R when it comes time to get them.

yes works are good shocks, i mean they aent stock so they are definately better. but elka and such are better than works, but it just depends on what kinda riding you do and how much money you got to spend.

Works was the first set of aftermarket shocks I bought. I still have them and I really like them, and it's not they only set of aftermarket shocks I own. I've got one quad with PEP ZPS, one with Elkas, and one with GT Thunder revalves. Works is good stuff at a reasonable price.

They work great for trail riding and play racing. Any more serious riding and you might want to spend a little more.

thanks yall, if i do any racing it will be TT but that isnt often at all. Ill be doing mostly trails and riding around with friends and around my parents house, not many high or long jumps anywheres. Longest jump is probably over my parents drive way. I launched my buddy's yfz450 about 25ft past the driveway

works performance makes a great shock, they have been in the business fort a long time. the regular triple or dual rate shocks with rezzies are light years better than stock, they just dont have as much adjustibility as the high dollar shocks. but works also makes top of the line shocks like the black widows.

I've been looking at works shocks too. Where are you getting yours? I cant find too many places that offer them.

You could always buy used ones and have them rebuilt.

Love how the long time riders vs. the bandwagon riders opinions on things differ. ;)

Only shocks I've owned are on my ex. AT-Steelers w/ Res up front, Ultracross in the rear. They've done good by me for the last 10 years. ;)

Works w/ a DeRisi Mellinium Rebuild are amazing if you get used ones cheap. ;)

Works are good when they are new,it seems like the bushings wear out in no time though.Surely every case is different but...:ermm:
