carb confusion!!!

aite im confused. someone told me that the main jet dont work till like 3/4-full throttle. then why do people foul out plugs when idling after they put too big of a main jet in???? cuz it hapened to my friend. jus a question.

Hey I would answer ya, but I dont know the answer...(LOL) But I am pretty sure its, pilot(low throttle) needle(medium throttle) main(wot) I dunno about the fouling plugs thing though???:confused:

ur welcome;) jetting is a little confusing and i still don't completely understand it. just get a few sizes up from what you have and go to work trying it. that's what i did and monkeyed around with it for a while and i finally got it. i dread my next motor mod cause i hate jetting.:D
