If i remember correctly, the Rossier pipes are actually a bit cheaper than most other big name pipes right?

Yep - I payed around $375 and I think the Alba was the only one cheaper.
The standard Yoshi was pretty close too.

yo tlronny the pipe do you have to clamp it or just slip it on......http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o7/lilpops93/ross2.jpg;)

There is a tight slip-on piece at the front and a clamp at the entry to the muffler at the rear - it went together well and hasn't come loose yet after around several months use.
It is not a flashy pipe but is constructed solidly so should last a long time.
I think that they only make the 'shorty' pipe now for the z as there wasn't enough demand for the longer version.

i have a hmf pipe on my 450-r and i noticed a big change. So, i would go with the hmf pipe pretty reasonable price and pretty good...

ALso the guy i bought my 450-r off of is a pro racer and he uses a hmf pipe.. he gets a new bike ever year and sales them for like 5 grand when he puts 20 grand into them

ya, everyone has their preference. The guy that races most likely get HMF cuz he's sponsored.
I've always been a White Bros guy. Every 4 stroke i've had gets a white bros.
What you have to do is match dyno's on a pipe shootout. Same bike different pipes and choose the pipe that puts the power where you want it.
