clutch cable questions

just wondering if theres anything im doing wrong with my clutch cables. i maintain them and keep them properly lubed all the time, but ive gone through 2 in about a year or a year and a half. is this normal? they start to fray and eventually snap at the exact same point which is right at the adjuster on the clutch perch. the two cables were motion pros.. is that the problem?? thanks for any input.

Do you have a burr somewhere that is working on the cable and gradually cutting it each time your work the cable?

It woudln't take much to work on those little strands of steel.

The adjuster is usually the culprit with mine. Look to see if the cable rubs while you pull it. I try to line the slot in the adjuster with the path the cable takes.

alright thanks for the suggestions guys. im gonna have to check that out when im home, and i'll probably find that to be the problem. does anybody recommend any other cables besides motion pro?
