We have a Pro Circuit pipe that needs to be repacked, but I cant get it apart.I've taken out the 3 screws in the back and the 3 rivets in the front.I can get the can (outer shell) to turn all the way around but it wont come apart! It looks like there is alot of carbon build up inside the pipe so maybe thats whats holding it? I thought about soaking it in gas to dissolve some of the carbon.Anyone have any ideas??

I've rebuilt my T-4 twice now, no problems- i didn't even need to pop the rivets out- I would suggest soaking in either gas or PB blaster

Where does the silencer split in two? This is actually for a dirtbike so it might be different. My old LRD or Curtis Sparks never gave me this much trouble...I think I'l' try the gas and let it soak for awhile tomorrow

IIRC the endcap is it's own piece. the core is part of the mid-pipe.
