View Full Version : Quickshot Acceletaror Pump Cover

I was wondering if anyone has a Quickshot Accleerator pump cover for their YFZ 450 and if so how good does it work is it worth 90.00 dollars it says it helps bog, provides instant response to throttle movements, also reduced hot engine stalling and improved low end performance

go lower with the leak jet...that will take care of the bog...

leak jet=$7
quickshot=$90

no brainer there

Didn't help me any. The BK mod makes the bog go away.

it helped out my quad a bunch but no mater what you do dwith the carb you have to adjust the air fuel screw a little

If theirs no bog then theirs no prob so no need for the cover. Think of it. Whats it going to do? Give it more gas??? No. Its to let it have a steadyer flow of gas when really it bogs from getting to much gas.

look i dont have a fcr carb but from what i have heard they do a lot for acceleration but like i said i dont have a fcr carb with the cover so i cant say if it does anything.

and from what you r saying by giving it a steadier stream of fuel it sounds like it would run better to me

I have a fcr and if your jam teh throttle some times it bogs for a sec and shoots off like a ocket. And some times when landing a jump it bogs a sec b4 shoting front words. That quick shot did not hel;p me any i still have the bog. the bk mod gets rid of it for free. im going to do it.

you might have to go real far down, or real high up on the leak jet, it all depends on how the a/p was adjusted at the factory. regardless, a leak jet change is all you need
