head porting pointers

ive done some pocket porting on some small block chevy heads and i was wondering where to port 400ex heads... it would be awesome if some one could post a cut-a-away picture of a 400ex head and show me what to look for adn where to take away in the head...thanks

Im not sure on porting a head but a nother thing you could do is port the carb.

I don't think you should port either of them.

I did my own and was happy with it. If your happy with small gains I would do it, but if you want to hog it out and huge gains I would let the pros do it.

port match the intake to head and open up the bowl . there are no sharp radius (s) to pick up major power. very efficent port design like all hondas. open it up a little and it will flow a little better......... you can also go trick with a 5 angle valve job they have been proven to pick up power on super bikes .
