Here's my dilemma and I need an answer asap.

I just got an '07 450r Saturday and we are going to Silver Lake Sunday. I want Sand Devils, as that is what my husband runs on his 450r. NO WHERE has them in stock - except one place but they are 10 paddle.

My husband has the HRC kit and an aftermarket exhaust on his quad - would he be okay with the 10 paddles and I just take his 8 paddles?

I can't find a good argument anywhere about the difference.

Thanks,
Nichole

Sometimes you can have "too much" paddle, but if you are just recreationally duning, then they should be fine!

Did you try Rocky Mountain ATV? ;)

Yes everywhere they are on backorder or discontinued. I've been on the phone all day with Rocky Mountain ATV, Recreation Tire, Ronnie's, and David Allen Racing. David Allen gave me a price for 2 skat trak extreme 10 paddles on an 8" rim for $317.79. But my hub said that those were probably generic rims. So He wants me to go with the ITP rims and 10 paddle sand devil's from Recreation tire.

So you think the 10 paddles will be alright?

less paddles go for 7 or 6 on a 450 the only time you can pull 10 paddles is with NOS. If you due not go over 40 MPH 10 is ok

I use 8 paddle extremes (haulers) or 9 paddle reg haulers on my 400ex with no problems.

You will have more top end with 6. 8 is what I run on DS730
