I just rebuilt my motor. New bore, rings piston, and valve seals. I added 2.2 quarts like the manual shows. It doesn't smoke after heat-up. The only smoke I see is a dark blue smoke. I think that has something to do with the fuel being rich. Not sure what could be the problem. All I know is it makes me very angry after I have just rebuilt it.

Upon first start-up right after a new build, it should smoke a little bit, it's normal. But just incase, did you replace gaskets? You might be leaking oil.

Yes I did replace the gaskets, and yes it is 2.2 quarts with a filter change. I have ran the motor for more that 6 hours on some mild rides.

If you are running a stock oil cooler and stock oil tank it should only be 1.95 qrts...I just checked my service manual.

That's just regularly changing the oil, he disassembled the motor.
