JEEZEEEEE Thats amazing.. Might wana take that to the yamaha dealer so they can **** their pants about it. lol You need to have like constant guards all around that lol. Thats like the most amazing, detailed, well thought out, planned out, tricked out, quad i have ever seen. I actually saved all of those pictures lol Thats freakin amazing man. Musta set you back alot but wellllllll worth it. It made me stay up late the night of my dmv test lol. That quad's amazing though.. Noone could grade that. an A+ is such an understatement for it. the people that build Elka's are pretty much clueless, rude and stupid!! the base product is very good, but they have no idea how to build them. the inner parts of a shock are important, yes, but if its not put together in a way for it to work together, then its pointless in the first place. and that is the problem. in my opinion overpriced for what it is as well.

Well than, in your opinion, what shocks should I go with? I'm about to buy suspension. I have a 07 400ex and I'm getting +3 SMC Long Travel arms. But, I'm not sure on what shocks to go with yet. So, I'm getting all the opinions I can. :)

so you'll be going with MX set-up. Fox Floats are nice, Motowoz builds a killer shock, PEP is also really good. ;]

For the most part MX, yes. But, also some duning and trails. My trails are pretty open though so, I ride my trails like a track. :D
I was orignally going to go with the Elkas because of the adjustable ride height.
I really like the Motowoz and the new technology. I can save up the extra money for Motowoz if its worth it. Also, I like the Motowoz because it will match my bike. :devil: Unlike the Elkas which totally throw off the color scheme. :D

i see what you mean. any shocks ride height can be adjusted with the pre-load. the factory that they were built in caught on fire and burned, so a guy bought it, and from what i have heard is doing wonders with them. i have seen a lot of amateurs with them. if you see a guys quad on here that has them, ask him how they like them and see what they say. just to be sure

I have never rode motowoz shocks.....but I hear they are quit nice. For MX, I would go with the Fox floats, IMO. ;)

Floats are nice, but having to adjust them simply based on what temperature it is outside can get old.

Yep I love my truck just as much as much as my 440, it has a 6" fabtech lift 20x10 wheels, 37in tires, and a 4" exhaust to a 5" tip. Also has 2 jl 10" subs for a little sound enhancement. To bad it only gets 13 mpg average.

i bougt the lexx pipe and i really didnt like it. i read a lot of good things bout it so i bought it. the strap that holds the silencer on is really cheap and the whole pipe shakes when you ride. the instuctions that it gave you were very vage and it was confuseing to put it on and i had a buch of left over bolts that i still cant find out were they go. i took the pipe off once for engine work and it wouldnt go back on the stock header. i tryed for at least 2 hours and even had a friend whos a mecanic look at it and couldnt figure it out. after about 6 month with the lexx, i bought an hmf.

o and by the way, spencer_shinn is that a 05' with 06' plastics?

i like the lexx mxe slip on but i wish it was a litel bit louder but once u take the sparkarestor of it is prety loud and that cheap lexx clamp evry talks about is fine with me .i wish it was welded or some thing but its fine and also i had no trouble puting it on after i had taken it off and it had never raddeled on me while i was riding . but dont for get u pay for what u get . but i like

i did like how light it was, and for a slip on it gave some power.

Then go into paint if you have it, file, open, choose picture, open,click image, stretch skew, horizontal and vertical change it to 50 instead of 100 and itl be half size. if u can seee the whole thing in the pain window without having to scroll over then its good. if its still a lill to big then go back into it and type 75 in then save as a different picturue so u stilll have the big one but rename it as llike quad resized or sumthin

Haha, you should keep the plastics off and just ride it like that. Lol i did that with my first beater quad. unintentionally tho. i was 12 and i hada 84 yes 84 lt125 quad it wasa pos but it was fun and i went to go over a huge log and it flipped like 3 times cuz i went too fast landedsome crazy way and ALL the plastics felell off it was hilarious lol.
