Need crank help

Well my friend just blew his second crank in 7 months on his brand new 07 yfz, he were thinking about getting it built by falicon istead of a new yamaha unit...what do you guys think? Do you think it would hold up longer?

I know all 450's have weak cranks, but do you think there is anything else that could be causing this to happen so often?

any help would be appreciated..thanks

Figure out what is causing the problem first. The falicon crank is very expensive compared to alternative cranks on the market.

I can get your friend a Hot Rod heavy duty crank for 250.00..

well we wouldn't buy a new crank, just get falicon to rebuild this one.

a faild bearing can be hard to determine the cause.
