Anywhere in central georgia to ride other than DP, I mean after you have been their a few times it gets old,one the trails are hard as a highway, and rough same for the tracks, I mean its a good place to go a few times but you and your ride will take a beating!looks like they would keep the trails and tracks up better than they do.but anyway if theirs a nice plce to ride in central georgia please let me know, because theirs no where to ride in my area just somewhere to get in trouble,im located in a small town between macon and savannah.

here are a couple links to get you started....

I've only been to Durhamtown, Broad River, Highland Park, and Houston Valley. Most others have been to far for me to travel for a day trip.

I'll give you my opinion on the places i've been.....

- Highland park - Closest to me, farthest for you, not a very elaborate system of trails, usually it's not to busy, but, the main loop trail around the property is not very wide, and it is ridiculously dusty. The kind of dust that would ruin your day if you rode fast through it and suddenly came upon a group of slow riders. They do have all one way trails though. No tracks there. Overall I really don't recommend it for you. Conditions+distance=way not worth it.

- Houston Valley - Another one thats really far for you, two way trails, and more scenic than fun. no tracks, just winding, hilly, and off camber trails. not too big either.

- broad river - # 2 on my list. Not a bad place to ride... almost all one way trails, a long but very spread out track, and also not too busy. The only bad thing about the place is it seems to be geared more towards utility quads than sport. At least half the trails there are nearly impassable on a sport quad..... ruts, mud, creek crossings, rocks, etc. I would recommend it only to try it once...... who knows, you may like it. The track had no irrigation on it and no shade, so it was pretty dusty as well. not a bad thing if you're not behind someone.

- DP - Well, you've been there and you're right about the trail conditions....BUT....I have found that the best way to see DP is on a weekday. One of the only things I don't like about it is the crowd. When you get back deep on the trails you usually don't see anyone for a bit....but it can get pretty busy. Overall it's my favorite place simply because it has it all, the total package for riders. if it were'nt so far for me I would go more often than I do.

My overall recommendation is, try Broad river, and if you have'nt allready, try sunnyside, I don't personnally know anyone who's been there but from what i've read from the people that have....they love it. And it's closer to you than DP. Also, Navigate http://www.georgiaoffroad.com/ and dig through it a little if you have'nt, you may find something to try. Also, take a look through this thread http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=208561
There are several GA. riders in there and they may help out a little more than me. Good luck!!!!
