View Full Version : how strong is the 400ex motor???

i was just wondering, can the 400ex motor take alot of high reving? alot of my riding is in the high rpm. however, i have not yet hit the rev limitter. am i still safe? oh, and most of that high reving is done in the lower gears, 2-3. will all this affect the life of the motor?

Running any engine real hard will effect it's life span.

hondas are tuff, but just shift sooner, your better off short shifting then reving it out with a 4 stroke
