Idle Help

I start my 05yfz 450 and it idles fine,,touch the gas and it stays at that higher point,,throttle cabble is fine,,what gives ?

You say the throttle cable is fine but did you check it by disconnecting it from the carb and cracking open the throttle (with the bike running) by hand? That would tell you for sure if the problem was cable / throttle related.

the carb was tilted ! classic problem,,it's not fuel injected so that baby gots stay level as possible with mamma earth.
