get a 240 kit and you will be as fast as the 400 but, your pretty much wasting your time and money.

i have a 2006 blaster SE. I had a 400ex and 250r and i think that my blaster is the funnest bike ive owned so far. but thats just my oppinoin. there fun to buy parts for a make them faster. but i dont think your "wasting your time" with this bike. i think you will have fun on it.

even if you do have to put some money into it, that will be sweet if you make it so you can beat 400's. btw sweet quad.

yeah a blaster is so much fun to play around on. I love mine, and you can beat a stock 400 with a ported stock cylinder, bigger carb and a good pipe. I recomend getting good shocks on it too. a stock blaster will beat you to death....

In drag races my blaster blows away a stock 400ex and will just barley be outrun by the 440ex.

i know what you are going to say that i am a 450 rider and i just come here and bag on little quads but that is not the case in this issue, i personaly think the trade you did was not a very good one, you need a pretty built blaster to beat a 400, i know i have one, dont get me wrong they are fun to ride and can wheely and jump for days, they are also simple to work on and they are fun to work on just my opinion on the whole deal and i personaly think you are wasting your time

hey, this guys has a pretty good point i own a 2004 blaster and i am 15 now and i am tired of it and i am ready for a 450-r. Personally, i owuld of kept the 400 i mean a 400 or a blaster. I have a blaster and they are great to do wheelies on and mess around but thats the only good thing they only go top 50-60 so i dont know how you say it can beat a 400ex stock. Blasters are fun if your young but i out grew it and and i am selling it and if anyoen wants information on it pm me. I am planning on getting a 450-r...HAVe fun!

deff. the funnest quad i have ridden. The 400's are mostly about business, the 450 are business.
