winter project???????

I am looking to finally spend some money of the winter on my motor. Besides getting the head ported and polished, what else do you guys suggest? Not sure if i should get the 440 kit, I have heard a lot of negatives thing! Anyones Opinion would be extremely helpful?

I almost forgot, what type of price range did your mods cost ya?

The 440 should be fine as long as you take care of it. Maybe a cam to bring it to life and a silencer and air filter. A 440 kit should run anywhere from 210 to 250 (less sleeving labor) depending on where you get the parts from and what piston you choose. Sleeving varies a lot. My local speed shop charged me 70 but I've seen prices as high as 175 to do it. Good luck.
