What is the best way to keep the engine block from getting the white stuff on it. I have to store my bikes in the trailer (enclosed) and can't keep them in a dry enviroment all the time. Is there something you can periodicly spray on it keep it from oxidizing?

I'd coat the engine in CRC spray,I think it's called WD40 over your way.That'd have to save the metal somewhat.
