What does this screw do? (pointed out in the pic) It isn't under the bowl even though i have the bowl off. It is on a older style 42mm 450r carb.

that is the Idle Fuel Mixture Screw

Is it the Idle Screw or the Fuel Screw, make up your mind :D

It's the fuel screw.

I said it right the first time,
It is the fuel mixture screw for the idle.

The fuel screw is part of the pilot circuit. The fuel screw, the pilot jet, and the pilot air jet (non adjustable in most applications) all combine to meter fuel from idle to about 1/4 throttle.
