What do you guys think about a trade between a blaster and a 300 ex. After i rode my buddies 300, i felt like i had more fun on it than the blaster and i was wondring if it would be a good trade.

Yeah mines not completely stock, but im not that fond of 2 strokes, there good for going fast, but i had a blast on the 300, my main thing with the blaster is its size, its small and im not, it could be a bad *** ride if i put the money to it, but im not willing to do that.

Dont play around with the 300. Go once and done with a 400 or 450.

I could but, again i have a money issue, im getting ready to go to college in the fall. i would either have to trade or sell my blaster to get money for something else.

i would get the 300ex they are just faster than a blaster, and i have a blaster, blasters are okay if you know how to ride them, not saying you dont, if you know how to ride them they are fun little machines in the trails but i would trade it for a 300ex

Wrong a blaster is faster than a 300ex.

Just to clarify what C-Leigh told all of us....

Speed = 95% rider 5% power

There are very many variables to which one would be the fastest...In an mx race which needs torque and pulling the 300ex is going to be the victor...also it has a better suspension set-up than a Blaster. In mx the Blaster is like racing a 400ex and a 450r...the suspension is totally different and the 450r has the best set up. With equal riders the 300 is an all around more superior quad in mx...in TT I am going to have to say that they are totally equal as far as the power and suspension goes...after that you need a rider to bring out the potential in either of the quads...

I dont do mx, just a back woods trail type of guy, honestly im too damn big for a blaster, but it sure is fun as hell to ride, its for sale by the way.

you better be talking about stock quads.

i have a full pipe, k&n filter, no lid, reed spacer, and a mild high compression piston and i would have a hard time beating a 300ex. a blaster bored, carb would beat a 300ex but even if i had reeds and some other little mods i am not going to beat a 300ex
