Just opening a thread to anyone going to Silver Lake the weekend of May 18th. If your going up let us know we will look for ya . We will have jeeps and Quads. Heres a pic of my quad if you see me stop and say Hello.

They are the clear red "protective" vinyl light kits from Clear Guard. The red shows up orange when they are turned on but do not expect to ride at night with them!!!

Sandnut, the OMR group is the ohiomafiariders.com guys. We are mainly N.E. Ohio guys (stop in the site and say hi). I believe that there will be between 10-20 of us. Cant wait, less than a month now!

I was wondering if that was you guys I have scene the site and Its cool Looking foward to seeing you guys then. Where are you staying We will be at the Silver Sands Friday through Monday. We will see you on the Dunes and I cant wai its killing me. ALL I WANT TO DO IS RIDE THE DUNES.Look me up you know what the quad looks like and the helmet.Show me Pics of your bikes and quads and Ill keep my eyes open for ya.

Sandnut777, we will be at Sierra Sands motel all three nights. There will be a bunch of us going but you should see a blue Grand Cherokee pulling a trailer with my Outlaw 525, a totally, nothing stock, yellow Z400 on it, and I think a 400EX.... We will also have quite a few others with us with some nice rides, including a DS650, KFX450, YFZ with nothing stock on it, and a few others (not sure who all is going). I am not positive but the one guy might be coming with his custom Suzuki quadilla (black). Again, look for me, the fat guy on this (same pic as above):

Sweet, we will have at least one enclosed trailer with a huge OMR sticker on the side of it being pulled by a blue Ranger. I will be in my dark blue Grand Cherokee with a 12ft trailer on the back parked with him. If we don't see you in the dunes, catch us in the parking lot. Oh, the name I use on there is EAZYE

Hey not many of you know me I'm guessing but I will be up there the 19th and 20th. We will be driving a blue Cummins with a goose neck trailer. Had a great trip to SL this weekend. The weather was perfect and it was not crowded at all! The Outlaw 525 ran perfect and treated me very well! Here are some pics....My Outlaw in in the pics but I was not on it (I was taking the pics). Ran into SandNut777, good dude, got his 400EX back up and running (my buddy helped him out) and it sounded like he had a good time as well! I didn't really drag anyone except a guy on a Predator (he was considerably smaller than me) and I took him by about 4 bike lengths....

What a cool collection of rides you guys had there. Quite a bit of money rolling over the sand there!

So who was the fastest?:macho LOL.

Who was the fastest, that is easy. Our buddy on the white LTR450! He is about 5' 2" and cant weigh more than 120 soaking wet. He has the Cherry Bomb, open air box and open stock exhaust. If not him, it was the other guy on the YFZ. He is really thin and is feather light as well!

Our collection consisted of:

Outlaw525
KFX450
2x LTR450's with goodies
3x LT-Z400's all with Athena 434 kits and not much left stock (arms, swingers, axles, shocks, etc...no slouches my any means!)
2x YFZ450 with goodies
A few modded 400EX's
DS650 (Modded)
A couple modded Honda 250 dirt bikes (2 strokes)
A modded Banshee

Overall it was a good trip for the group to make the 6 hr ride up there. It was worth every minute of the drive for the weather and sand conditions we had!

The Silver Lake trip was the bomb. I had an awsome time and so did my buddies. Hey bro thank Josh again for me would you . I got home and checked the Jet HMF sent me it was a 165 Now thats funny. I had a 180 in it, It was running to rich and chocking the carb out . I did have an awsome time, and all the guys from OMR group are a great bunch of guys. I dont have pics off the camera yet but ill get them ,Talk at ya later .Are you guys going back in the fall let me know we are going back also.

Sandnut777, definitely a good time meeting you, too bad we didn't really get to ride together. Definitely post up pics from this past weekend!

As far as trips this summer/fall, we will definitely be headed up that way! I think there is talk of a mid summer trip and also a fall trip (September sometime).

I can't believe that you had a 180 in that thing if it was running stock (untill the full setup). I assume you bought it that way? That just amazes me that it ran with it being so fat on the top end! Well, at least you got it running and the weekend was not a total waste for ya!

Awsome ride this trip..I was so tired I couldn't go anymore..need a little more tweaking to the FCR..but overall ran pretty good.

I'm new at the sport and I need the practice . You guys Get R done .My buddie Mike could hang with you guys He rides hard , Maybe next time I might be ready to give it a try.
