pro-fabatv.com will biuld you a 416 for 700 bucks

or you do it youself from about 300-350

you dont need a sleeve. you just bore your stock cylinder to 87mm or .080 over stock which is 85 mm. i would suggest a cm to go with it. xr cam is mild and there are more drastic cams out also. some are drop in and some require hardned rockers and heavy duty valve springs.

if you want to get it ported i would go with a wilder cam to utilize the full potentail of the porting. also i would suggest at least a slip on muffler and removed the choke from the stock carb.

if you want to run pump gas get the je piston at 10.8:1 over the 11:1 wiseco.

i got the piston, rings, circlips, pin, gaskets for 150, plus i need to get my cylinder bore which will be about 25-40 bucks
and i am still deciding on a cam which will cost me another 130 to 170

i got my piston through marcums through the links page

im trying to figure out which motor kit now how hot does the 426 run? is it better than the others?

also i would do the chassis and shock mods first. i listened to rico and was glad i did im really happy with my setup. handling is more important than the motor i think. and for the track i find the 14 tooth front sprocket helps also. JMO
