just a little competition to see who can come up with the best paint job for my derby car... I cant decide what color to paint it... You can photoshop it, or just give me ideas. Sorry the pictures arnt great, but it was just a spur of the moment deal, so i took some pictures of it in the shed.
Have Fun

ya.. didnt want it to stand out too much... idk.. i'm thinkin bout paintin it like that gold & black one that "Ron89" painted up... but i wouldn't paint the whole rebel flag thing... that'd be too hard, and not worth puttin on somethin thats just goin back to the junkyard where it came from.

But it does look Bad*****....

I ended up getting my car done almost 2 months early so when I got bored I just added more paint lol. Get some painter masking tape. get the blue kind it isn't sticky at all and you can make very easy lines. and It won't peel off paint you already have on there.

Is this you first derby? If so I sugges at a neck roll or brace you wear under your helmet

I live in Stafford... So i'll run there, and if my car lives through that, I'll probly go run it at Pratt.

not sure how the rules work for you, but if they will allow it, weld a piece of tubing between the door pillars behind your seat,

torch the body right in the middle of the car above the frame rails, then run large bolts through the frame rails and into the body. make large (3"X5") "washers" to sit on the body, then bolt it all together. this will keep your car from buckling in the middle. there are lots of little things you can do to improve your chances. the one fair around here runs a national series, and the cars cannot be modified at all. needless to say i dont run in that one. but if you can modify em, then the skys the limit. you just gotta know how to hide stuff:devil:
