I just read my New ATV sport and theres an article about Farr leaving Honda for KTM. It said the quad would be released mid-year. It also said Farr was going to race it in MX, TT, and Cross country. Opinions?

esr250r86,im pretty sure KTM can fork out enough money for the quads untill they can get on their feet. ;)

but baldwin is building his engine so its gonna run pretty damn good no matter what type of bike hes racing :p

I think it's awseome. I can't wait to see what Can-Am has to offer either. Talk about two companies with a long "racing" history getting involved in the sport. These are exciting times. This is definitely not going to be like a bicycle company getting into the quad market and over extending themselves. There is a growing trend in the market and I'm sure the bean counters at the major manufacturers see that. The early reports on the KTM 450 a few months ago were very promising so it doesn't surprise me that they could be close to production.

It will have the strongest motor in the class and no rear linkage. And it will be very weird looking.

Just wait until you see what Can-Am will be offering in terms of "race" ATV . I think many people will be quite impressed .

I'd keep an eye out for a mid-summer to late-summer information release about it .
