Is anyone on this thread going to the ITP Quadcross Rnd.3 in Arizona Cycle Park. I am probably going to be there and want to know who else is going. I am going to race the 265-450cc 2&4 stroke intermediate class. Post if your going, what class you are racing in and a pic of your quad if you have one.

I'm not sure on the exact times....but i know it was a good portion of each day - I sure didn't need any more practice after those two days last year....lol!!

yeah, thats alot of practice, I wouldnt ask for more, you should have the track mastered down by race time. Do they let you park there overnight? If you do leave do they charge you to come back in? Man, I cant wait for the race. I am also going to bring my easter eggs and do some egg hunting.lol.

It's not this weekend......isn't Easter this weekend? And isn't the race next weekend? Just checking.......

Last year they gave a weekend pass....alot of people just camped there the whole time....so you can camp there, or leave your quads with someone who is there, I"m sure - overnight. There is no gate fee for practice - just practice fees, so Sat and Fri should just be practice fees....then on Sunday you will have a gate fee along with a race fee if you race......

Dang, I am so mad right now. I broke my collarbone a few weeks ago and went to the doctor today and it still isnt healed! So I am not going to be racing the itp quadcross round three at acp! I will be there watching but not riding. Man this makes me mad. I will be at round four hopefully though.

Taft is OK....I was there a couple of years ago for a WORCS race - it's not a real technical track - way out in the middle of nowhere....lots of turns and twists.....a few jumps.....but it might have changed a bit since then....

Yeah, there is a track down here in yuma called the happy track. It is ok. It has a lot of table tops, nice burms, and sweeping turn. It is groomed every week and is a super fun and nice track. They allow quads also. If you ever come down here pm me and I will probably see you there since im there every week.

the taft track isnt really that hard of a track... pretty big table top and a pretty big step up but other than that its all pretty easy.... lots of uphills and down hills and everything in between.

ACP was pretty good today. There was a pretty good turnout there. Ellis, creamer,Mckillip, luburgh, shafe, just to mention a few of the pros that were at practice today. The track is looking good,is really slick and rough, not to mention gets dry at times. Cant wait until the race tommorrow.:D

Fun track, but a bad day for me.

I entered the Open 91cc-Up Intermediate class. Went out for practice, not having any from Friday or Saturday, Didn't focus on things I needed to.

Come to find out, I was the only one entered in my class, so a buddy of mine swapped one of his classes for that race, to give me some competition, and he wanted to race me directly, instead of a pack of 30 like at our WORCS races.

Moto 1 - Front end shot up off the gate, so I was at the back of the pack going into the first turn. Plucked off a few people and was right behind my buddy/competition going up to the first uphill step-up leaving the pit. Jumped it faster and gained another bit, layed it into the left hander, everything seemed fine, next thing I know, it highsided and launched me straight to the ground. Ears were ringing, and I had a bad headache, so I decided not to attempt to finish. Back was sore, tailbone was hurting, back was somewhat torn up, and my head still hurt. lol.

Moto 2 - Went out for the moto feeling pretty good and fresh, lined up next to my buddy, got another bad start(First race every using a gate) and was at the back again. I was chasing down my buddy for a bit, but the back and tailbone pain kept multiplying, so I stopped pushing much after 2 laps, because it just wasn't worth screwing up my body for a week for something that I don't run for points in.

Didn't go as planned whatsoever. Slightly more expensive MX practice and somewhat of a learing experience....still fun though

Hey cannondalerider, I saw you out there, should of said hi but was trying to get practice in. The winner of moto1 was Korry ellis , moto 2 was awesome, there was so much battling between ellis and luburgh, creamer, nelson. Ellis was in the lead for a while until his rear shock blew out, then luburgh passed him, then nelson passed to take the win.

1. Nelson
2. Luburgh
3. Creamer
4. Ellis (Rear shock blew out)

It was an awesome race until ellis's shock blew out which caused him three spots. But he was still clearing the uphill triples and stuff. His body was just taking the beating and then for 5th place I think it was Schell (not positive) that came around the last turn and right before he made it through the finish line his chain popped off so he quickly got off the bike and tried to push it up the steep hill but he just could not pull it off because it was too steep. And the other guys had caught up to him by then. Overall it was a great Main. :D

Sorry correction it was dustin Terry who was about to take fifth place until the chain incident.

Also.....www.dgpphotography.com was out there - he got a ton of pics, too - he'll have his up soon, too......
