They look trick. I got the black one, but I do not have any pics. Very worthwhile investment in looks and function.

I have a red one that I haven't installed yet. I wanted to see how the small ring fit against the clip on the axle.

It replaces the stock POS axle nut and is a more cost-friendly alternative to "anti-fade" axle nuts that can run $230+. The nut is "split" down one side with two allen head pinch bolts running through. You tighten the axle nut on the threads till the axle is tight, then tighten the two pinch bolts causing the whole nut to bite down on the threads. The only time I have ever tightened mine was the first time I installed it....hasn't budged a bit since. I also like it because it is 10x easier to remove/reinstall than the stock axle nut. $40 well spent IMO.. :D

Thanks! When is it necessary to replace an axle nut? (sorry, noob here :p )

i would replace the stocker with one right away...then you wont have to worry about it ever again unless you strip the threads or something

If you've dealt with the stock axle nut for long enough, they're worth every penny. The last straw for me was when I was trying to replace a broken swingarm and the axle nut stripped and wouldn't back off. I thought I was gonna have to cut the stupid thing off but luckily the threads caught. Went straight in the garbage after that I don't like dealing with junk parts :o

that happened to mine. i tweaked my axle and it popped the threads. i havent replaced it yet because it hasn't loosened at all since then :p . but as soon as i have the money i am going to replace it and possibly get an axle too
