Warrior clutch adjustment??

I have a 1998 warrior with no repair manual.
Problem... the clutch will only enguage and disenguage way out to the end of the lever throw....

I have adjusted the cable several times.

Question...is there a adjustment rod or anything under the clutch cover on the basket I could make a adjustment to???

If there is, what is the adjustment??

were the cable hooks on the case.. you can adjust that.. if you can pop the clip off and move it around if that helps you at all..

Otherwise you just have to play with it...:(

I have already done that too...
I looked at a parts catalog and there looks like no internal adjusters.

Maybe I`ll just try a new cable first!!!

my 87 is exactly the same way. It seems like the cable needs to be longer so it will disengage earlier, but its adjusted as long as it will go. I dont know what to do
