I am fortunate enought to be working in a job that allows me access to a full line of sheet metal, and all the tools to make several parts for my R.

I am wanting to make myself a full body skid plate. THe type that runs from the front below the bumper to the crossmember in front of the swingarm...

I can make a cardboard template... but I was hoping that someone here might be able to supply me with some more precise measurements.

PM me or post here if you think you might be able to help me out... maybe I could make two and send you one.

Thanks,

Steve

its easy enough to do. simply stand the quad straight up so that it rests on the rear tires and grab bar.

sketch out a pencil drawing on a sheet of paper of how things look on the belly of the quad. once you've done this, start at at the front of the quad, just behind the front bumper, taking measurements and recording them on the sketch that you have on paper.

once you've done this. you can transfer the measurements to a sheet of aluminum. if you so chose to. you can make your own a-arm guards aswell.

here are some pics....

actually NO!!! lol i designed mine to turn up in the front and to turn down in the rear. i do 90% of my riding on creeks and the rear turn down directs the water to the center of the quad, making it hydro plane. :blah:
