I think service honda has a PDF format of the breakdown of parts on their site, but no torque specs etc. if that helps at all.

I'd skip the owners manual and get a Clymers.

Do a search on ebay for the 450R. I would bet you'll see manuals listed. ;)

The Clymer manual is the lesser expensive repair manual, about $25 and is geard more to the home mechanic. The official Honda manual is $40-$50 I think and from what I understand is geared more to the professional mechanic. I'm sure both types of people have used both manuals with success.

I have the Clymer and it has worked great for me along with help from atvriders.com:D Rebuilt the top end, split the cases to change the shiftshaft. Rebuilt the rear end and rear brakes...

The 'downloadable' manual is not allowed here due to copyright laws.

I don't know if Clymer has one for the 450r yet.

premiumtommy's link is the Haynes version. It groups several different models in one book, not sure if I like that...

Ya, i don't think i'd like it if my eclipse manual also covered neon's and cavaliers lol (although it and the neon have the exact same engine ;) ) I don't think that's cool i agree. Thanks for the info! :D

Is there anything special i ned to know about doing it? Or is it no different than a changing a car? I know someone told me like on theirs they have to add so much oil back, then run it for 10 minutes or something, and then add the rest? Just wondered if there was anything special i needed to do  Thanks!
