After many long hours, 539869032 jets, and alot of thinking.. I may have got this right.
My plug is burning a tanish color - indicating that's normal.. I did this - I took out the 42 Pilot (For some reason, my quad wouldn't start with it.) I put back in its place the stock 38 Pilot.. Starts good.. So - I put what I had in it - a 155 main - ran it for a while and took the plug out.. Blackish Soot buildup - so - I was rich. Then, I took it down to a 150. Nope - no change. Put in a 146 with the screw out 3.5 turns and it's tan. It looks good I think... Does this sound right to you? It's a Dynojet Stage 2 Jet Kit... I've got a Big Gun Race exhaust and a 406 10.8:1 piston..
Thanks to all of those who have helped me with my carbureator! Couldn't have done it without this site. Thanks again!
