Timing ?

I have 250X bottom end with 300EX top end I should time it like 300Ex not the 250X right

300ex & 250x top ends are the same as far as I know. Both should have the same timing. I beleive the 250x has a decompression system on it (not sure though), but other than that I'm pretty sure they are the same.

The Reason I asked was that the timing holes r in diff places on tha case I looked at the cases on line so that is what brought my ? up
