Wow, that thing probably hadles like no other! Did you get it from Jrspawn? Was it all mint when you got it?

It handled very well, but I could not get use to the 4 stroke type of power. Yes I got it from Jrspawn. It was in OK shape when I got it, but I paid way too much for it....

Wow some nice hybrids guys! Do you think there is a way to build one for around 12000k!!!???

jrspawn
03-25-2007, 07:12 PM
I think a build under 12 is very reasonable depending on which brand you go with. Let me know if you are looking, i have another Full Walsh YZ setup im getting ready to build, from powdercoat to engine, the works. If someone is interested let me know i can build and have it powdercoated the way you want.

for 12K you can get a VERY NICE hybrid...if I wasnt getting pumped to race my Walsh/PEP i could help you out...otherwise if if were you i'd look to jrspawn(aka justin, aka JNA racing) i've never delt with him but that cat seems to know hybrids and what makes them work. check this site out...hybrid on my friend

you are right i wasn't there when you bought the quad from justin, and i dont have to be....i know him and how he does business so by implying that he is anything but honest makes me quite angry...justin goes out of his way to keep his name good and do right by people and in one minute you try and come by with your stupid coment and take that all away....not gonna happen,,,im not trying to start anything but whats right is right

JACK, You need a lesson in reading and respect to others. At no point have I attacked Justin. READ WHAT I WROTE. The quad was in OK shape, I just feel that I paid to much for it. That is between Justin and myself. I agreed to the price at the time, but knowing what I know now I would have passed on it.

By the way I am in no mood to start a pissing match. Who was the one calling someone stupid? YOU. That a good way to start one. Seeing as how you were not there and have no idea the condition of the bike or the price paid, I think you should stick with what you know for sure.

i read what you wrote, and i never said you attacked justin....what i said is that your comment makes justin sound like he mislead you,and he didn't....
Now on a different note. r you threating me......i need a lesson.Who r you to talk to me like that???All i was doing was making sure exrider forum people didnt get the wrong idea about a good guy that helps everyone on here......You let me know when those lessons r and ill make sure to clear my calander....

matt250r21
03-26-2007, 05:18 PM
This is dumb, you were not there. If you think I'm trying to smear Justin, you are reading to much into this.

You need a lesson in respect to others for calling somones comment stupid.

jrspawn
03-26-2007, 05:22 PM
Well i guess ill chime in on this. Matt250r, what you posted can be a little misleading to others and some could take it as negativeity. And as for paying too much for it, it was unfortunet that your friend at the time who had you fund the deal to buy the quad never paid you back, but im not responcible for that, i told him a price and he HAD to have it the next day. And to anyone reading this also, the pics of the laeger quad i posted are from the morning they picked it up. Just wanted to clear that up, some people have different opinions of "OK" shape. You guys came, looked it over, both rode it, and agreed to buy it, but once again im sorry your friend backed out on paying you.

I take alot of pride in what i build and race. I also spend about 75% just about 7 days a week online or on the phone helping others from questions to advice. And i cant say enough as to how good it makes me feel that i can help others, like i tell everyone, my phone is on 24/7 if you need anything.

Ive became good friends with alot of people i help, including Jack, your not gonna find a better person.

Thank you
Justin

Hey Justin, glad you chimed in. This is getting silly. The Laeger I got from you was fine. You and I know the whole story, I even talked to you at the Budds National about it. There is no need to drag it out here. But I am not going to sit by and have someone who was not there pretend he knows all and call my comment stupid.

Here is the part were you say Sorry JACK.

KTM = nice power but no reliability. Nice looking quad, but I would change the bumper, add the nerfs and change the engine to Yamaha or Honda!!!

KTM is prob the best motor out and could kill any of the 450's. And everything is reliable as long as you follow the maintence

Totally disargee with this one! I am not sure about US made Yamis and Hondas, however the ones made in Japan can not compare to KTM at all. KTM gives awsome power, and yes it will kill other 450 (especially stock) however it breaks A LOT. My buddy loves KTMs and had probably 4 of them and oh my god, they need sooooooo much maintenance (not only the engine but the whole bike overall)!!!!

nice bike x-tech, i saw it out of dirt wheels a while back, it looks awesome. reliable or not, its still an awesome build.

Thanks Cody_119
Some KTM motors can require lots of maintainance. I do not have that issue with this motor. The whole motor has been cryogenically treated (frozen to -300 degrees), which is a form of heatreating. I have also plummed an oil cooler into it which holds as much oil as the motor itself. The valves are all kibble white stainless steel valves. And the cylinder is the Hard Parts 540 cylinder that holds more water than the stock one. All of this has contributed to a more reliable motor.
