My question is can you put aftermarket shocks on a stock a-arm? Then still use that aftermarket shock with the later purchased +2 a-arm?
This helps when having to buy a $400 +4 axle, +2 a-arm and aftermarket shocks. At least the a-arms can waith and you can still get a better ride.

you can get aftermarket shocks for stock arms and then upgrade to +2 arms later. I was told that the only difference is that they use a different main spring for the +2. its a stiffer spring. So when you switch arms, you can just get another spring and then put it on. If you dont get the spring, they will just be soft.
