440EX: Ride review and Raptor drag race results.

I went out with my buddy today with my Raptor and his newly broken in 440EX. His mods are as follows:
I.M.S. 440 kit
GT Thunder cam
Ported and polished head
39mm Keihin FCR carb
36 tooth rear sprocket
I got to ride his bike a lot today. All I can say is WOW! This thing has power from idle to top. I am very impressed. Our drag was too close to call. Whoever got the better holeshot got the win. His bike felt stronger though. I think at the dunes, on paddles, he's gonna get me. Guess I have to fork out some more dough now.

Just curious if you ever check your plug cause the specs on the Raptor seem a little rich. Alittle leaner may be all you need to keep up with the honda.:)

My Raptor is actually running a little lean. I have no airbox lid and all the rubber shrouding has been removed for maximum airflow. I'll be rejetted for Thansgiving at Glamis. We'll see how the drags go then. Then again, all he needs to keep up is a revbox. As his 440 nails the rev limiter easily.
