i just ordered one from sparks and was reading an installation of it and saw u need a new left side case gasket, is this a must or is it just incase you rip up the original one? reason im asking is because i cannot find them anywhere, all i can find is gasket kits that are like $50.

Its a good chance you are going to tear the gasket when you pull the case.
Go to bikebandit.com and go to OEM parts. Its a great site and you can find any OEM part.

Only if your lucky will the old gasket come off (or stay on) in one piece. Sometimes they do, but in my experience they usually don't.

OEM part number for that gasket is 11395-KCY-671. List price is about $15 from your local honda dealer. Or order it from any of a number of places online.

Unless your quad is only a couple months old, It WILL tear the gasket. Mine did.
Plan ahead and buy one. It's $12.72 here:

It's more of a low end torque and acceleration mod. You'll feel quickier throttle responses.

The Sparks key is great for stock motors.

Even if you get lucky and get the case off without tearing the gasket, it has already been compressed and will not reseal properly. I would reccomend replacing it or at very least use some silicone.
