Hey everyone,

Just curious to whats out there right now. Looking for a nice sports car, something with enough balls, but still looks nice and performs well... not looking to go anywhere near over 10k, I just want some ideas for when the summer ends.

What I had in mine, 2nd gen supra or rx7, mr2? 300zx? something along those lines

For ten grand, it wouldn't look like that. Not even close :D

I don't think chevelles are TOO bad. I have seen a couple nice ones for around 9500. The first gen camaros are to most overpriced IMO.

buy a truck and lift it

unless you plan on using it mostly for offroad, i wouldn't lift a truck more than a few inches. for pavement pounding, the handling and road manners suck. speaking from experience here.

this spring i'm looking to buy something that chits and gits. you can definately pick up a nice late model camaro for under 10K

Well I would take a truck, but I got my dads truck for that, so looking for a nice sports car. A muscle car would be abit too much for me right now. Money wise. No ones got sports car knowledge here?

good luck finding a real R. A very little amount of real R's were sent to the USA and its very hard to find them and if you do make sure they didnt engine swap because their engines are really valuable. If you have seen bull run the civic has a typer R engine and it runs 0-60 in 3.7 seconds

Yea thats very true. You also could get a Integra RS/LS and swap heads and intake manifolds and make a pretty quick car if you have the time. There's alot of good things when it comes to honda products because most parts on Honda/Acura engines are universal. I'm probably going to put a JDM B16A heads on my car eventually.

Not really fond about the acura/honda's.. not sure why just never liked them very much. I most likely will be buying a turbo charged car, if its not turboed, im gonna put one on... so I was thinking toyota mr2 with turbo and whatnot. Just love the looks of those cars.

Fbody

aka

Camaro or Firebird

You can find 4th gen v6 and ls1 "v8's" easily for 5k-10k. Insurance will be high though. Don't mess around with that front wheel drive import crap.

You can find a nice plain Chevelle or Malibu for that, but you won't touch a real SS.
