how to buy a 250R

I am going to look at a 250R this weekend. It is a reasonable price and he says the motor was just rebuilt and not fully broke in yet. My question is are there any common problems with 250r's that I should be looking for? He says it has a greaseable RPM bearing carrier, so that should help with honda's carriers always needing new bearings. Also I am taking my compression tester along. Thanks, Nic

Check the frame for cracks, especially by the motor mounts.

Look over every inch of the frame, check out the bushings, brakes, compression, ask about cracks in the frame, where he rode it, blah blah blah, ASK QUESTIONS.
