My book says to use 4 stroke engine oil without molybdenum. What about that?

Most people are slowly switching over to the gear oil. I know I got a lot less of those "false neutrals." I am going to be using klotz 80-85 stuff this year.

I've actually had a lot less problems with 10w40 than I did with 80w gear oil.

80W Golden Spectro is equal to 10w30 oil in weight. I hope you didn't use automotive gear oil.

Nope all honda stuff. Guess I should have said Honda 80w trans oil.

isnt this stuff messing up the clutches? I know i have to run Rottela in the clutch because of the rekluse, so i am just running it in the motor as well.

I run the amsoin 10w40 synthetic in both the tranny and engine cases....and it works great...i've ran the regular honda oil then the honda synthetic and then the amsoil synthetic and i rarely have it falsely kick into neutral
i think that stuff is the best
