I bought this kit I got to install it now. I need input on what cams and stuff you guys used. And how does it run over all ?

if thats a 460ex im assuming that it is a 440 stroked correct? if so check out the hot cam stage 3 its desinged for stroker motors hope that helps.go to hot cams web site fir more info.

I bought a storker crank as well and I'm also planning on running the stage 3 cam on a 460. I'm still waiting on buying a new transmission though. I'll tell you how it goes after its all put together. The way its going right now though you might beat me to the installation.

well I got it together with a hotcams stage 2. now I have some issues with the jetting I am running a DJ170 and 48 pilot that on a 04-05 450R carb it backfires on decel I am playing with the Air/Fuel screw but it seems to have no effect ?? you guys got any ideas for jetting on stroker motor ??

Bump the pilot up a size or two.

Droped a 200 Kehin jet now runs real good but it stalls at low rpm when I down shift got any ideas ??

Got the jetting pretty much were i want it with a 58 pilot and K192 main.

here franky g whatever the problem is, if you still have the problem this helped me with my jetting until my top end blew.
