Anyone going to Coos Bay this weekend? 11, 12, 13 of Oct.

I was just wondering, I will be there on my Banshee with atleast 3 400's (Two red, one yellow), a blue raptor, a z400, a 250ex, and maybe a blaster. hope to see someone there! (my shee, but it will have the 10 paddle haulers on it) \/ And there wont be any stock graphics, just black with the delta v-force sticker.

There's 3 of us heading down to Winchester on the 12th for the day. I'm trying to get more people to meet up that day as well. Right now I've got 2 raptors and myself going. Gonna make a few calls today and see if my cannondale and 400ex buddies want to go out and play.

I'm not sure if we are camping, last time we camped it didnt turn out so great....:eek: lol. Well, put it like this, a dog pissed on our polished aluminum wheels, someone stole a bottle of my pre mix oil, and half a can of gas....Plus, we slept in the quad hauling trailer, and when we woke up our pillows were soaked from condensation...:grr :huh lol

Edit: Half a can of gas=half a can of Trick 110 mixed with Maxima K-2 (I think??) premix oil....theres like 20 bucks:grr

Yea, most likely...plus, at Coos Bay, the only place I know of to camp, you have to ride your bike on gravel for a long ways...down by the rental place with all hte artillery stuff, know where I mean?

your talking about the KOA I would guess. We have never camped there, it's kinda spendy and like you said it's a long ride on gravel. We have always just camped at Horsfalls in the campground a cople miles farther down 101 very close to Boxcar. You could also rough it and camp in the sand by the Horsfalls campground in the trees, I see a lot of people who do.

I think we are going to plan a trip to Winchester toward the end of the month as well. Most likely we'll stay at Discovery Point so we can ride in and out. I'll let you know when we get it set up.

I've seen quite a few people camping out in the sand before, looks like the way to go...The only problem would be getting the truck and trailer out there without getting stuck. Narrow 35's on a dodge pickup with a 28 foot enclosed trailer dont really do to well in the sand....lol

Pismoguy, My 400 probably wont ever see the dunes again....lol. First off, I spent $500 on getting aluminum polished, and I dont really want to dull it up with sand. Second, I cant even get my paddle tires on it! Check out how close to the nerfs the rear tires are (These are 18 inch tires, I have 20 inch casing paddles with the tall extreme paddles on them...lol)

We have a group of 4 banshees, a 250R, and my 300EX going to Horsefalls this weekend. We'll be leaving the Eugene area at 9 am Saturday and coming back by 5 pm Sunday. This will be our first trip to Horsefalls so if everyone meets up let us know, it'd be kinda nice to ride with some people that know the area.
We are also going to Sandlake next weekend. I don't know how many of us will be going but it should be a decent sized group.

alky..i would understand not wanting to mess up your polished parts, but i dont think there is to many quads thats will be throwing sand all over that thing...its so nice... plus they probly couldnt keep up.

anyway, about those nerfs, why are they so close while your running sucH A small tire, do you have a shortened swing arm or something?

dam went took my bike down to the dealer this week and, like i thought my axle is bent, but suzuki is replaceing it for free. wish i coulda been out riding with you guys, it was really nice today. :(

It was awesome at Winchester Bay yesterday (Sat.). I'd say less than 50 total riders in the whole place. Just kept doing that "banshee" hill. I think people are going to have to start re-naming some of the hills, because I even saw some Polaris's going up it. It's a steep and long tree shot. First time I saw it, I didn't think anyone could make it up, so I tried it anyways, and shot right up it.

We went to Coos Bay on saturday, camped overnight, and then went to Winchester on Sunday. I liked Coos Bay a lot, but next time we're gonna stay at Hauser or at the first parking lot at Horsfalls. Boxcar was pretty cool too, I raced a couple of banshees on my boyfriend's 250R and beat them! We are definitley going back next summer.

were you at Sand Lake over Labor day, and if so where were you camped at??

We were camped on a huge patch of grass on the other side of the hills by the beach. If you had left the parking lot headed to the beach just before you came up over the hill onto the beach you would have taken a right and our camp was at the edge of the grass there. We had a yukon with a 12' red trailer, one of those huge white costco tents, a weekend warrior with a red ford powerstroke, a black nissan xterra, a black jeep, and a green 4runner.

ThorChick, we were camped rite down from you on that same patch of grass. I had the Weekend Warrior with the black dodge camped across from some other friends of ours.I think you know who we were camped next to (Ronnie). I remember him and James out there racing on the flats in front of camp.

Did you see me riding my boyfriend's 250R when some guy on a blaster hit me? He flipped like 5 times and messed up his blaster pretty bad. Only took a little chunk out of the rims on the R though.
