ok guys im buying an 05 this friday prob and was wondering if theier was any problems with this yr of the quad its all stock and its a kickstart

i heard they are pretty goos. the 06-07 is the one with having tranny problems or something like that.

06-07 dont have tranny problems
they have starting problems and a recall on ball joints

i havent had a problem with mine at all but late model 04's and early 05's have crank bearing failures

crank bearings and rod bearins... and yes the 06/07 were rumored to have tranny problems, which is why you see a lot of national caliber bikes now with "tranny mods." This seems to be another reason a lot of pros were still using the 04/05 motors.

yea its like the late 04's and early 05's. My 05 is a late one, so i hope i dont have the problem, but if I do, i just have more of a reason to rebuild it into a racing motor...(+3 stroker)

ok well whats the best pipe out there right now i just trail ride most of the time and go to a local track every once in a while

Rossier and Dasa are the best for the 04/05, but HMF is also alright.

well guys i got the 450 and its a great quad and i love it i will get some pics up soon and do any of ur guys have an lrd pipe becuase the guy down there at the shop said that they out the most power out for the 450 and if u do how do they sound
