Ripping and editing DVD's

My uncle took a bunch of our families home movies and put them on dvd's. I want to rip them to my computer, and edit them, then burn them back to a dvd. Is there a free program that does this or a relatively cheap program that I can buy?

with dvd shrink 3.2 I can copy any dvd onto my computer, never got much farther than that because I dont have a dvd burner.

But I can copy lets say a huevos movie onto my computer, change the resolution around, delete the intro, and credits then poast it up on the net.



I got it off limewire I think.
