I have renthal handle bars and a houser steering stem i already fixed the clamp which helped but my steering is still hard as a rock to turn i want it loose and easy to turn what can i do its not my clamp. i was told the 400ex has good handling so im hoping this can be resolved

The next thing to do is start checking every pivot point and see if they're in a bind/dry/worn out/etc

Sometimes the powdercoating on the aftermarket stems is really thick. Try placing one little washer in between the stem mount on one side. Take the bolt out and put the waser right in the middle to act as a spacer. You might have to try different size washers and you might need more than one. Other than that check all of your tie rod ends and your balljoints for binding.

also check your toe. if its out alot it will be hard to steer

u might want to check your bearing and your seals on that thing they r probably shot
