Herrman King Pin Pictures

I am going to get the Herrman King Pin set up with ym Long Travel +3 A arms. I don't understand how this works with no Ball Joint. Can somone Explain this and show me Pictures os i can understand better.

a few people on this site are very pleased with their herman parts. But a guy i race with. (bob dalaney) up here in Canada just built a complete herrman chassis quad. SO far hes bent the stem (no roll over) snaped both upper king pins. Lets just say hes not pleased. And this bike was built this year. spend the extra $75 and get houser's
