Rebuilding a Hybrid, need some help.

OK I have hybrid which is a 300ex frame with a 84 200x swing arm and a Kawaski Ninja ex250 motor. The frame is kinda messed up. Welds arent that great etc.

I'm getting a new 01 300ex frame and I need some help figuring out if and how much I really need to extend the frame to make the motor fit. I'm kinda new to this kinda stuff. I'm fairly intelligent and can figure things out.

The previous owner said he extended it 6 inches in the middle to make room for the motor but I'm not sure If I really need to do that much. Here are some pics of what It looks like now. Give me your ideas of what I need to do to the new frame. Thanks.
