they are great trail bikes, and fun to play around on.i had a 98 with a 408 big bore,a 38mm carb,dg exhaust, and a +2 swinger.it would climb anything i wanted it too,and was very fun to play around on.they are not a race bike though.if you jump it very high, you WILL bottom out the stock suspension.they are good bikes man.mine ran for ever!!

Stay away from the warrior, they are good to putt around on but thats it. We had one and I called it sherman because it was a tank! I agree go with the 400ex there a blast stock and bullet proof, modify them fairly cheep with all parts on here for sale.

The warrior is a fine quad. It has been around forever and many performance parts and used parts (ebay) are out there. Stepping up from a 80 the warrior will meet all your needs. But depending on what kind of rider you are and you may feel held back by the warrior shortly down the road. The warrior lacks the performance of many new and old 400 plus cc's class. I would take a look at the 400ex. Its priced about the same new and used. And it out performs the warrior in almost everyway. Another great choice is the Z400/kfx400. and any of the 450s. Trust me you will grow use to the warrior and will be wanting more. Sure you can sink money into the motor and suspension and see some big gains. But save yourself money now and think ahead.
