View Full Version : Can someone help me on a brake problem?

I am trying to change my rear brakes on my 400 EX. I have compressed the piston and put the new pads on. But I can't get them on the rotor because the wear indicator is hitting the rotor. Does it move or am i doing something else wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, BO

Yeah just push it back, I just get a good hold and push the piston and the indicator back with my thumbs.

I can't get the indicator to move, i have even put a c-clamp on it.

a c clamp would make it a lot easier when changing your rear pads
