wont start

Well when i try to start it, the quad will only make a clicking sound when u hit the starter button. then out of nowhere it will start. What could be wrong?

check for loose connections

check wires on battery and starting solenoid

sounds to me like the solenoid is bad/is going bad. make sure battery is good.
