Rad lock nut

I'm trying to figure out how my rad-locknut fits onto my axle and well its just not clicking in my brain. Does anyone have any pics or instructions. Its comes with a new steel clip that is supposed to fit over the stock cir-clip. The only way I see it going toegether is with the cir-clip and extra washer exposed on the outside. Is this right?

Yes you have that cir-clip ring that goes in the groove in the axle. Then take the washer type ring RAD gives you and it covers that cir-clip. Then tighten the RAD nut up against that washer ring. Hope this helps.
