Anybody know if it's possible to sleeve down a pro-x cylinder from CT?

I'm having a hard time finding a 265 cylinder but there a lots of 310's out there and I figured since you can make a stock cynlinder into a 310 with a different sleeve couldn't you make a 310 into a 265 with a different sleeve?

Anything is possible, but it would require a custom sleeve. It's also something CT is not likely to have. I would give advanced sleeve a try and see if they can make you one.

why not just buy a 265 sleeve kit from la sleeve, or if they dont make it, just find someone, and have it put in a stock cylinder?

Some time back a few years, those Pro-x cylinders comming from CT Racing & LA Sleeve, the sleeve itself had a larger OD than the sleeves made today. It could be possible if you have a new model cylinder casting & if it was bored to fit the smaller OD new model 310 sleeve, you could get the large OD 265 replacement sleeve & fit it into the 310 casting.
If you had the 310 sleeve removed out of your casting you could get the OD measurement & then call LA Sleeve for the details.

Your not talking about a hard thing to do, just a matter of getting the measurements right.
On this same token, you can take the 310 casting & install a 330 sleeve into it as well.
